Argentona is a small town on the Maresme Coast, near the city of Mataró. It is famous for its porcelain water jugs, for which it has a museum, and an annual festival on 4 August. It became popular with wealthy Catalan families at the beginning of the 20th Century and many built their summer residences here, meaning it has wide, tree-lined streets with large, detached houses.

Situated just 30 minutes from Barcelona, Argentona is set a little back from the coast and is surrounded by natural parklands, offering the chance to combine a city and coastal lifestyle. The village centre has some stunning Modernista masterpieces by the greats, including Lluis Bonet and the architect of some of Barcelona's most prestigious landmarks, Josep Puig i Cadafalch.

The C-32 motorway gives the town quick access to Barcelona and the lovely beaches of Cabrera de Mar are only a 10 minute drive away. The nearest international schools are Hamelin International Laie in Montgat (20 minutes) and SEK in La Garriga (35 minutes).
