Eixample Right, or Eixample Dreta as it is known in Catalan, is the older part of the Eixample neighbourhood and, while many of the area's apartments have been converted into offices, it still boasts many beautiful building façades and is architecturally more interesting than the left side of this neighbourhood. Here you can see many examples of Modernista architecture in the doorways, patios, lamps and balconies of the attractive homes of the city's wealthy elite.
