Ruzafa, Valencia: Location and surroundings of this property
The Ruzafa neighbourhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Valencia dating back to the 8th century. Little by little, many buildings from the early 20th century have been restored and the cultural offering has expanded, until it has become one of the fashionable neighborhoods.
Art galleries and restaurants specializing in all types of cuisine abound, some of them run by prestigious chefs, such as Richard Camarena's Canalla Bistró restaurant or Quique Dacosta's Mercatbar. On the other hand, Ruzafa is a neighbourhood deeply rooted in the Fallas festival. Its streets make special efforts to place increasingly more artistic lighting.
In the centre of the neighbourhood we find the Ruzafa Market with 160 sales stalls that offer the best of the Valencian garden and where you can enjoy tapas on one of the many terraces that liven up the Market environment.
The Ruzafa neighbourhood has undergone a great change in recent years, among others, thanks to the Central Park project, whose first phase equivalent to 40% of the total area was inaugurated in 2018.
