Cala'n Porter is a town belonging to the municipality of Alaior. It is known mainly for the beach that gives it its name, cockle-shaped and with a winding entrance, very popular with tourists during the tourist season months. Cala'n Porter is surrounded by cliffs with abundant vegetation.

The beach receives a significant number of tourists during the summer. It has security during the summer season from the Red Cross. In addition, the Alaior City Council has prohibited the entry of animals during the tourist season months to prevent incidents with bathers.

It has one of the most notable caves on the island both for its history and for its current use, the Cova d'en Xoroi. Today this cave is open all day and at night it becomes a peculiar nightclub and has spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea.
