Lucas Fox presents this unique apartment on the ground floor in the Can Castany building, a monument in the municipality of Vilanova i la Geltrú, protected as a cultural asset of local interest. It was a project created by the architect Josep Francesc Ràfols i Fontanals in 1921. The building is located between party walls and has a backyard, a ground floor, two floors and an attic.

The main façade is symmetrical in composition. On the ground floor is the access door, centered, with a semicircular arch, and a carpanel arch window on each side. The building is crowned by a cornice and the railing of the attic terrace, which combines brickwork and iron. The roof of the building is reinforced with beams seen from the inside of the staircase.

We enter the building that transports us to the time in which it was built, since it preserves all the aesthetics of that time.

The ground floor has 154 m² built flat. Upon entering, we are welcomed by a large entrance hall with high ceilings in which we can highlight the door with stained glass windows that leads to the living-dining room with the arched window and its original shutters. Also the arch in the ceiling that frames the dining room.

In the intermediate area, there are three bedrooms, two singles and one double. It also has a complete four-piece bathroom with a shower and a toilet, both decorated with period motifs, such as tiles, sinks and handles, among others.

The spacious kitchen has space to place a table and chairs, as well as access to an incredible patio open to the exterior of about 80 m², in which there is an old central fountain. The patio is equipped with a pergola to enjoy summer days with the family. Likewise, the patio offers us a storage room room of about 20 m², ideal to adapt as a summer kitchen or barbecue area, among others.
