Like other seaside destinations, of reference and highly
listed, Avenida do Brasil is one of the avenues that has been most modernized
and reclassified since the end of the 19th century, not only in the affirmation of the city of
Porto as a reference international tourist destination, as well as in the distinction and
growth as cultural heritage, along with what has happened in other
European cities facing the sea.

Amplitude

In the city of Porto, Avenida do Brasil contextualizes the relationship between construction sites,
gardens, beaches and sea. Especially after the 1920s, this avenue suffered
series of requalifications and improvements, becoming in the last decades
the ex-libris of the city's Atlantic front. Here there are numerous buildings
categorical and centennial monuments of the neo-Gothic era, mansions
luxury hotels located on farms with unrivaled landscape heritage,
landmarks in the city of Porto, such as the bronze sculptures
of the “Homem do Leme”, the bust of “Camões” and the “Sea Wolf”, which symbolizes the
rescues of fishermen and sailors who in the 19th century inhabited this coast.

History

Around the aspects of modernity that are evident in this avenue, the
huge and emblematic Pergola that was once the stage of films
and which marks the romantic atmosphere of the promenade, the BH building, at the time
conceived as a huge car park and which marks the arrival of the
car to the city, and the landscape and functional framework that enhances
the practice of sport through the facilities offered for jogging,
skates, bicycles and even tennis, given the proximity to Clube de Ténis da Foz, one of the
first to exist in Portugal.

Experience

It is in this context of Avenida do Brasil, between the two castles that delimited the Atlantic front of the city in antiquity (S. João da Foz and S. Francisco Xavier), that we present an icon of modernity and exclusivity. A T3 apartment (three suites) on the seafront, on a 4th floor with over 200 m ² . It was rehabilitated and given a new life, seeking to take advantage of the best parameters of comfort and architectural and constructive quality that the market has to offer.
