Boavista Flats is a rehabilitation and expansion project for a set of three residential buildings of remarkable architectural design dating from the early 20th century, located in the historic center of Braga.

The development is part of the Urban Rehabilitation Area of Braga, enjoying the inherent tax benefits.

The project, by Central Arquitetos, preserves the uniqueness of the facades of the three buildings on Rua da Boavista, promoting their expansion, both in height and in depth, with the introduction of a second volume in the backyard of the buildings, which defines a new urban front of markedly contemporary language.

It is a consolidated residential area undergoing rehabilitation, a few minutes' walk from the Cathedral, Rua do Souto and Avenida Central, with direct access to the Highway (Center de Braga exit) and from there to the A11 and A3, which indicates a potential of high and safe valuation.

The development consists of two buildings connected by a common courtyard, with a gross construction area of 1783 m 2 above ground:
- Building A, results from the rehabilitation and expansion of the original buildings, preserving their main facades and includes 24 apartments (5 T0, 12 T0+1 and 7 T1) spread over 4 floors;
- Building B, new construction comprising 2 T1 apartments, one on each floor.

Development of modern architecture, with suspended sanitary ware, shower enclosures, built-in wardrobes, floating oak flooring, exterior blinds, color video intercom, pre-installation of air conditioning, water heating by electric water heaters, kitchen equipped with induction, oven, fridge, dishwasher, clothes and dryer, all Teka brand appliances.

Location

The building is located in the parish of Sé next to the Pópulo Church and the Campo da Vinha car park.
