Location

Poble Nou has recently been the subject of a major facelift thanks to the @22 project which aims to make it one of the major e-commerce centres in Europe. It has great amenities with a shopping centre, the shops and restaurants of the Rambla del Poblenou, and easy access to the beach. Also offering great public transport links by tram, metro and bus to the city centre.

Poble Nou ('new village' in Catalan) is one of Barcelona's up and coming barrios. It is technically part of Eixample but its historical past pre-dates the grid. In the 19th century it was the industrial centre of the city and a working class residential district home to tradesmen, factory workers and fishermen, giving the area a strong sense of community still felt today.
