The Dezanove House is located in the fisherman's village of A Pobra de Caramiñal, one of the essential areas in the region for local mussel production.

The villa, tucked into the rocky coastline with stunning sea views, borrows from the traditions of its surroundings using this same eucalyptus wood. The architect Iñaki Leite, a Galician himself, was keen to ensure a sense of harmony between the building and setting of the property.

The villa facade is a mixture of eucalyptus wood, glass and concrete, with shutters that open along the length of the southern side to flood the home with light. The recycled nature of the wood, taken from former mussel farms, gives the building a rough and natural aesthetic, made contemporary by glass and concrete. The same materials run throughout the home's inside, but the wood used is a smoother, warmer cut.

Upon entering, we are welcomed by the entrance hall that gives us access to the ground floor and a staircase leading to all property levels. On the main floor, we are greeted by the light-filled open layout dining, living and kitchen area; this area offers large sliding windows that provide an excellent south-easterly orientation overlooking the spectacular sea views. The kitchen area is finished with top quality appliances, carpentry and a stainless steel countertop. The living and dining area is finished with wooden high ceilings and flooring, giving this area a naturally cosy atmosphere. We also find a bathroom finished with frosted glass on this level, providing the same natural light inside.

On the floor above, we find the sleeping area, where we find 2 en-suite bedrooms, finished with stylish vanities and taps, again offering natural wood carpentry. The sleeping area has direct access to an outer chill-out terrace with large windows, giving the room plenty of light and stunning views.
A large living room, dining area, kitchen, and bedroom sits on the ground floor, and natural light floods into the home through skylights, light wells, expansive windows and the clever use of glass on the interior.

In addition to using recycled materials, the home is highly efficient through the ground source heat pump for underfloor heating and passive refreshing mechanical ventilation with a recovery system.
