With the ongoing lockdown across Spain, the coronavirus outbreak will impact on the number of buyers able to view homes, and the Barcelona-based company is offering its own solution.
Buyers browsing the Lucas Fox website now have the option to request a virtual viewing. This allows them to schedule a video call with an agent via WhatsApp, FaceTime or Skype so that they can be virtually guided through properties of interest.
Virtual viewings will enable the agent to give potential buyers a detailed, real-time tour of the property and around the surrounding neighbourhood. Buyers can ask as many questions as they want during the viewing and interact with the agent as if they were also present in the property. Potential buyers simply require the WhatsApp, FaceTime or Skype apps installed on their smartphone with a microphone and good internet connection.
“We are living in very challenging times,” explains Lucas Fox founding partner Alexander Vaughan. “But people still want to buy and sell property. Lucas Fox is always looking to adapt its business to evolving markets and the launch of our virtual viewings service will enable buyers to continue their property search in spite of restrictions on travel and movement around the country.”
In addition, Lucas Fox has also launched a ‘Home Live Stream’ service, allowing clients to join live streaming sessions of specific properties.
