The apartment is located very close to the famous Diagonal avenue and the shopping area of Rambla Catalunya in the very heart of the Eixample, a neighbourhood famous for its wide and regular streets, created in the mid-nineteenth century as a fruit of the city’s expansion after the demolition of the medieval citywalls. Nowadays the neighbourhood is a vivid middle-class area, and offers plenty of design and traditional restaurants, bars, terraces and shops of all kinds.
The nearest underground station is Diagonal (lines 3 and 5), and the nearest train station is Provença, some 300-400 meters from the apartment. Both can take you to the central Plaza Catalunya in less than 5 minutes, though the area is actually very pleasant to discover by foot, and places like Plaza Catalunya and Ramblas are not too far by foot either.
The apartment was completely refurbished in February 2005. It is located on the top-floor of a 6-floor building and is therefore very bright and quiet. The morning sun inaugurates your day, and thanks to a lovely, large terrace you can enjoy outside life. The design living room is very bright and the rustic wall creates a cosy atmosphere.
