Alt Emporda

Located to the north of the Baix Emporda, nestled in the north-eastern corner of Spain, is the region known as the Alt Emporda.

Bordering France the region marks the beginning of the northern extent of the Costa Brava and is perhaps best known for its coastal towns of Cadaques, Roses, Empuriabrava and L’Escala.  However, the inland areas of the region also have much to offer those wishing to buy property in the Alt Emporda.

The close proximity of Girona international airport and the forthcoming opening of the high speed rail link between Barcelona and the French border (which will stop in Figueres) also combine to make the Alt Emporda an attractive real estate investment for foreign and local buyers.
