This rustic 19th century villa is nestled in a hill overlooking the sea, 5 minutes walk from the village of Teiá. The property has 3 large double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. A travel cot can be provided upon request.

There is a family size kitchen with a small breakfast table. The kitchen has an electric oven, 4 gas hobs, dishwasher, fridge freezer. The modern kitchen leads to the out of the back terrace were there is a table tennis table and plunge pool, ideal for alfresco dining.

To the back of the house there is a large dining room and the chapel. There is also UK Television and a sound system in the living room off the hallway. WIFI is available throughout the property.

To the front of the house is a large terrace overlooking the sea. All the front rooms have large French doors that open out to this terrace and provide wonderful views and a breeze throughout the house.

There is a hammock area that remains in the shade throughout the day and stays cool during the hottest months of the year.

Fresh towels (not beach towels), linen and soaps are provided at the beginning of the week.

Location:

The house has an abundance of outside space. The front garden looks out to sea over the village and local vineyards. There are two seating areas where you can eat, and shade is provided by a large palm tree and a parasol.

Just outside the garden gate is an area with several hammocks which has shade all day and a breeze off the sea. This leads directly onto the national park. At the back of the house is a large tiled area, with an above-ground plunge pool and other seating areas.

Teiá is on the Maresme coast running from Barcelona to the Costa Brava. The nearest beach is a 2 minute drive or bus ride away at Ocata. Further up the coast (away from Barcelona) there are great beaches at Villassar (10 mins), Arenys (25 mins), and the Costa Brava.

The house is 5 minutes walk from the centre of Teiá, a small wine growing village with some shops, bars, and a market. Nearby are the town of Alella (5 minutes drive) and Premia de Dalt (7 minutes), which are also very nice. Central Barcelona is only 20 minutes drive from the house.

eiá is a sleepy Catalan Village surrounded by vineyards and impressive villas with a number of local shops and quaint market. It has good transport links to Barcelona with frequent direct buses both day and night. There is also a good train service to Barcelona and the Costa Brava from nearby el Masnou.
The national park can be accessed directly from the gates of the house for hiking, mountain biking, climbing paragliding and bird watching. There are also magnificent views over Barcelona and the surrounding countryside.
There are numerous beaches and ports within a short drive or bus ride of the house, where sea kayaking or boating can take place. The Costa Brava is under an hour up the coast with easy access to the famous village of Cadaques and the Dali museum at Figueres.
