One of the most beautiful country properties we have seen, this magnificent Catalan masia has been sympathetically and lovingly restored by its current owners, respecting the original architectural style with traditional materials yet incorporating modern facilities within the interior to give the highest standards of easy living and comfort.

The main house has four en-suite double bedrooms including a spacious master bedroom with a beautiful en-suite bathroom (with bathtub) and a view overlooking the stunning garden and swimming pool. Across the courtyard in a separate annex building are two further en-suite bedrooms, both with air conditioning and spacious terraces with magnificent views.

The villa has grounds of about 5 acres and is set in the heart of rolling countryside - its elevated position provides panoramic views of Mount Rocacorba across the valley and the Pyrenees in the distance.

Although secluded it has superb access. It is six minutes from Banyoles with its shops restaurants and famous lake, as well as twenty minutes from medieval Girona with excellent shopping, restaurants, culture and Catalan cuisine. There are also excellent local restaurants.

Girona airport is only 25 minutes away, Barcelona (city) is an hour away & Perpignan and its airport across the border into France is 70 minutes away. Within thirty minutes you can be on the beautiful beaches of the Costa Brava, walking in the volcanic park and nature reserves of Garrotxa, or visiting the beautiful fortified town of Besalu and the Dali museum in Figueres. Golf Girona and Torre Mirona (with its superb spa) are two splendid 18 hole 72 par golf courses within 15 minutes drive of San Bartomeo.
