Ibiza Area description

Ibiza or (Eivissa in Catalan) is an island in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of the city of Valencia. It is the third largest of the Balearic Islands.

Ibiza’s largest cities are Ibiza Town (Vila d'Eivissa in Catlan), Santa Eulària des Riu and Sant Antoni de Portmany.

The island has some spectacularly beautiful countryside boasting rolling hills with orchards of almond trees, jutting cliffs dropping to white sandy coves and bays of clear turquoise water.

Ibiza has a Mediterranean climate with mild winters and warm summers with an average summer temperature of 25 degrees celsius.

Ibiza is famous for its international dance scene ans summer parties. Noted clubs include Space, Pacha, Privilege, Amnesia, DC10, Eden, El Divino, Es Paradis, and Café del Mar. During the months of July and August

Many international people have chosen to settle in Ibiza and currently around 15% of the population is from outside of Spain – mainly Northern Europe and the UK.
